Welcome to the website of the Abba Bahrey Forum (ABF). We are a non-partisan group of scholars and professionals committed to constructive and accountable civic engagement (see our self-description under 'Who We Are'). As a community of practice, we strive to promote all internationally recognized rights of citizens, groups, and the rule of law. Our inspiration comes from Abba Bahrey, a late sixteenth-century Ethiopian monk and scholar whose respect for reason and evidence is exemplary.

ABF is committed to supporting Amara-focused organizations and those Ethiopianist ones with a proven record of promoting liberty, equality, justice, accountability, and national unity. Faithful to these principles, this website showcases public documents, press releases, calls, and recommended resource materials issued by various kindred rights-based civic organizations.

አማራ = ነጻ ሕዝብ  * * *  አምሓራ = የነጻነት ምድር

አባ ባሕርይ መድረክ" የራዕይና የማታገያ ፍኖተ-ካርታ ጠቋሚ ቡድን ነው፤ 

እውቀትን መሠረት ያደረጉ ጥቆማዎቹ የአማራ ድርጅቶችን የሚያጎለብቱና ለስኬታማነት የሚያገለግሉ ናቸው።

ይህ “የአባ ባሕርይ መድረክ” ድረገጽ ነው። መድረኩ በፖለቲካ ገለልተኛ የሆኑ ምሁራንና ባለሟያዎች ያቋቋሙት ሲሆን ዓላማውም በአማራውና በኢትዮጵያ ሃገረ-መንግስት ላይ ለወደቁት የኅልውና አደጋዎች መፍትሄዎችን በጥናት በማፍለቅ ምክረ-ሃሳብ ለማቅረብ ነው። የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ በዓለም-አቀፍ ስምምነቶች የጸደቁ መብቶቹንና የሕግ የበላይነት እንዲከበሩለት የተቻለንን ድጋፍ መስጠት ትኩረታችን ነው። ከዚህም አልፈን የበለፀገችና የዜጎች ሙሉ ነፃነቶች የተከበሩባት ሃገረ-ኢትዮጵያን ለማለምለም በጥናት የተመረኮዙ ምክረ-ሃሳቦችን ለማቅረብ ምኞት አለን።

ድረ-ገጻችን ስለእኛ ተልዕኮና ተግባራት፣ የተለያዩ አማራ-ተኮርና ኢትዮጵያ-ተኮር ሲቭክ ድርጅቶች የሚያወጧቸውን መግለጫዎችና ሰነዶች፣ እንዲሁም ለነውጥ-አልባ ትግል ጠቃሚ የመሰሉንን መጣጥፎች ያካትታል። ተመላልሳችሁ ጎብኙን።
